Every time I go to open Action, my settings seem to have been erased. This includes my Keybinds, microphone levels, and AVI vs MP4 to record with. In the Video Recording tab, at the bottom of the page you have Microphone and a selection box next to it. Select "Always record".

You also have to have the proper mic selected (if you have more than one) - go to Settings -> Audio Settings -> Microphone Settings -> and select the correct Audio Device.
