My dvb card software (DVBDream ver. 1.4i) has an option to send the mpeg2 and h264 received streams to players using some kind of command line (see the attachement below). Can you add such feature to splash ? Such feature would be perfect providing that splash is the fastest player for h264 streams ...

One of the Splash Lite 1.4 features sounds like this:

" Numerous GUI, display and stability improvements"

What does this actually mean ? The problems described in my post (highbitrate or/high frame full HD files) are still unsolved. I didn't notice any improvement in this version.

Yes, having a lower speed CPU could make the PC run slowly (not necessarilly !), but the full image (100%) size and the full screen size on my monitor are almost the same (playing back a 1920*1080 file in 100 % size on a 1920*1200 screen), so the full screen mode should not be an extra load for the ...

The file from your camera is probably a high bit rate stream(>10 Mbps). Brand cameras usualy have options to select high quality recordings (resulting high bitrates), if not, your video has anyway a high frame rate. I have a similar problem posted already somewhere else on this forum.

My current monitor resolution is 1920*1200 (16:10 24" monitor). Tested resolutions :
1920*1080
1680*1050
1440*900
1280*720
The stutter is slightly decreased, but the decrease is not proportional with the resolution decrease, it remains "constant".
The CPU load is almost the same.

fluent motion dissappearing in full screen mode

Hi ! First of all, i would like to congratulate you for the new h264 core. It is indeed a SIGNIFICANT improvement that any free players on the internet like VLC, MPC, etc. should have (their developpers are not focusing on it lately, unfortunately !). It playes much better any FullHD h264 file on my...
