Re: subtitle problem .

Hi gabimx,

1. do you have problem with all files or just the one?
2. does the audio and video plays normally in the problematic file?
3. have you tried to update graphic card drivers?

If all files work wrorng it is rather related to hardware configuration.

Re: Sound over HDMI problem

I'm pretty sure this is a bug with certain HDMI hardware, because sound cam be heard with some TV models and some not. It also fails to output sound the default way via DirectSound device when HDMI audio device is default. Look forward for some feedback from the developers. If the bug can't be repr...

Re: not working hardware acceleration

But am I right that splash pro CANNOT use hardware acceleration for decoding h.264 and/or vc-1 on a gm45 / gma 4500hd and XP sp3? If you find a driver with support for those, then it CAN. I'll try the dxvachecker. Is there anything specific I should look for? How can I see that it supports dxva? ju...

Re: not working hardware acceleration

Can you recommend me a tool to check for dxva? DXVAChecker Could you please specify your CPU frequency? and some more d...

Re: not working hardware acceleration

Hi splashw, generally we recommend newest GPU drivers, in your case newest drivers provided by Intel. There are some free tools you can use to check your actual DXVA configuration. If the tool says HW acc. is working fine, then it could be a problem with the file. Have you tried other files? MPEG2, ...

Hi sushil,

please try different video settings: HW acc. - ON/OFF, force video overlay - ON/OFF.

Re: Request for cropping feature

Hi Tristan1978,

we rather thought about zoom option, which allows to zoom video in fullscreen with no aspect ratio modification.
I can not tell you exact date of adding this feature, but it will be one of Splash PRO free updates.

Re: GPU hardware acceleration with Full HD MKVs

Hi latino, I saw it few times on my HD2600 at home, but on Win XP. When there are no resolutions detected for a codec, Splash can not initialize the GPU decoder. In my case reinstalling ATI drivers helped. Some users sais, that disabling Catalyst helps. If something goes wrong after drivers updating...
