3) After entering windowed mode - playlist resets to the beginning.
Also scrollbar dissapears:

4) I have one video file with HUGE bitrate. MPC-HC (using DXVA) playes it fine (ok, not fine - the player just hangs on so I can't pause or exit fullscreen... but it plays it without dropping frames).
1.3 drops much more frames (on fullscreen without showing info) - 1.2 playes this part better (with dropping frames, but only a few)...

But this is extreme Blu-Ray rip - most of then doesn't have such high-bitrate scenes.
Maybe new statistics (that is working even when not showing - am I right?) eats up last cpu cycles?

And some small suggestions:
- Playlist & settings windows have too bright line in the top, imho.
- When exiting from fullscreen mode - playlist window appears with aero effects. And atracts to much attention (when still looking at player)...
I think it's better to return how it was (if it's possible)

Hope this will help to make the best player ;)

P.s. Btw, I've finded information, why my ION netbook can't play 854x480 and 1024x576 with h/w acceleration:
All current third generation PureVideo hardware (G98, MCP77, MCP78, MCP79, MCP7A) cannot decode H.264 for the following horizontal resolutions: 769-784, 849-864, 929-944, 1009–1024, 1793–1808, 1873–1888, 1953–1968 and 2033-2048 pixel
So the reason was simple...

Hi, all.
First of all I want to congratulate the team that's created this wonderful All-In-One (free of fee/haven't tried the other versions of Splash!/) player. Thanks a lot! Sorry for my bad English...
I've been searching for a long time to find a player with internal codecs capable of playing full HD videos with such ease (my CPU - AMD x2 3800+ loads for 5-10% at 1080p videos).
However I have a few suggestions for the future versions to add:

1. Overlay (VMR) subtitles display, so in non 16:9 format videos (16:10, 4:3, 5:4) the subtitles are displayed on the black bar below the video.
2. LFE output for 2.1/4.1/5.1 speakers configurations (all low freq mixed in the subwoofer channel).
3. Some basic OSD - volume in % at least.
4. And last, but not least... skin support, though I find the original skin of the player very good.

Thanks in advance... and keep up the good work. ;)

I have a FireDTV S2 DVB Satellite Receiver (BDA Driver installed and working in DVBViewer).

I understand it is a DVB-S tuner. Unfortunately we do not support DVB-S yet. TV tab should be blocked for Satelite tuners. It will be blocked untill DVB-S support is added.

Thank you for your feedback.

1) About AR. Also that problem (first one) happens with video with AR 16:9 e.g. 848x480 (16:9).
768/9*16 = 1365.(3) Rounded - 1365.
If I set display resolution to 1360x768 - then i have 3 pixel's strip - 1 from top, 2 from bottom.
1360/16*9 = 765.
If I set resolution to 1280x720 - everything is fine.

So, I think, that if display is 16:9, but not exact 16:9 (e.g. my 1366x768) - 16:9 video should be streched to it's resolution.

2) If I open video (only when using drag&drop):
D:/video/1.mkv
then trying to open
D:/2.mkv
- I get "Failed to open input file!!!" error.
folder/file name can be other.
Btw, if i open
D:/video/1.mkv
and then
D:/1.mkv
Splash opens first video (D:/video/1.mkv, when it should open D:/1.mkv) - without "Failed to open input file!!!" error.

3) if I close Spalsh (when playback is paused) - it plays audio for the short period of time (1/10 of a second) and then closes.

4) if in fullscreen mode I press 'o' (btw, menu says it should be "Ctrl+O" - is it a bug or a feature?) - "open file" dialog shows... but without mouse pointer. The same was about settings menu - but it was fixed.

5) when choosing any option with Enter (e.g. when using "open file") - playback mode is switched (between windowed and fullscreen modes).

Error means: OUT OF MEMORY, but in could be an effect of other error just before.
please provide more details about your hardware:
RAM memory, tuner model.

Please ensure no other software or servise uses your tuner while running Splash Lite.
Was it working on previous Splash Lite versions? (e.g. 1.2), because this part of Splash have been strongly developed recently.

thank you for your feedback and waiting for more details,

Previously i had Splash Lite (1.2?), but the error wasn't. I uninstall SL 1.3 and install SL 1.2, but the error stays there.

Hello Team,

just to report an issue with watching TV under Splash Lite 1.3 (have same pbm with previous version btw but using 1.3 now and was hoping it would resolve that issue).

Essentially I've been able to scan DVB-T here and find a few channels - however, when I try then to watch TV, Splash just crashes out right! No error code, no explanation, just the usual Windows crash notice.

My config: WinXP SP3, E6300 Dual-Core (not C2D :-]), 4GB DDR2, ATI HD2400, Terratec Cinergy T² DVB-T (USB2, BDA driver).

Note: HD decoding via DXVA works great (except for E-AC3 decoding but I've posted about this in another topic).

Thanx for any help you could offer. :)

Is it supposed to decode DTS HD MA audio? Because it does for me. The info in the player says it is DTS HD. Or is it only DTS core?
