More Subtitle Options Please

Like shadow, border, color palette, bold/italic fonts, screen alignment...

or a panel like that

And keys for subtitle delay. Maybe +/- or pageup/pagedown. You know better...

Actually, the whole subtitle display option is just flawed. You even still can't turn them on/off by simple right-clicking during the movie playback. So absence of coloring and shadowing is not the worst thing here :-)

As far as we have seen there are too many things to do about subtitles. We trust you, you will do it soon

In next version we will add support for subtitles encoding.

Later we plan to add next improvements for subtitles including:
new formats support, support for bold and italics, support for styled subtitles,
improving font size change and some more.

We do not plan to make such complicated settings like on attached picture,
not in this Splash PRo version. But we will consider adding more settings in the future.

Do you plan to add support for IDX+SUB subtitles? this is important for a lot of users.
and what do you mean by "Later"? it will be greatly appreciated if you can provide us ETA if you can.

also what about FLV support? can you use external FLV decoder/splitter to be used with Splash PRO to view FLV video files?
will FLV videos never be supported with splash?

thank you.
;) :)

Im sorry but cannot provide much information here :(
We plan to add idx/sub but do not know eta.
Will try to keep you informed when some more information will be available.

FLV is included in long term plans.
We do not plan to add support for external decoders for FLV at the moment.

Is there a reason "Move subtitles down Right Shift + ArrowDown" to move subtitles beyond bottom of the screen ?

I thing it will be better max down to be the end of the screen.
