remux the mkv with older mkvmerge (3.x is safe, 4.1.0 perhaps) or take the newest verion and select in all track settigns "header-conpression" none

P.S.: I have same problem almost half of my movies. I think it cries for a fast solution, isnt it? (I know, I know, KMPlayer can play all... :twisted: )

Still not fixed in at least Splash Lite 1.5.0.

With 1.2.1 Pro I can play sound of all MKVs, but it cant play movies smoothly for me.

I did some files with mkvtoolnix 4.1.1 with zlib comp for audio, video etc.
works fine here.

works fine here.

whats your settings?
Newest mkvmerge 4.3.0, AVC/H.264 for video track and AC3 or DTS for sound track, all default settings.

No video, no info (click show info), no length info (nothing's happening in the seek bar), just sound.

Splash Lite 1.5.0 and Splash PRO 1.2.1 updates didn't cover all MKV compression tools.
Its my fault, really sorry for inconvenience :/
New fix waits for neerest release, whitch we plan soon.

Thanks for clearing the problem. Hope next Splash version will open all MKV files without any issues :D
