Yes, it is! Date of creation on _this_ disk. I've tried to copy to another disk, and copy back to the original place one-by-one. And voilà! It's working... But I cant do this procedure with all my movies. I would be very easy to read directory in file_name order. [Guys, do you need help? ;-)]

I think such feature is for playing video from camcoder. So maybe it's better to use time order only when structure is AVCHD (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... ucture.svg) otherwise - by name?

Btw, I use option - "Pre-allocate all files" so I don't have such problem ;)

I ask again, pls, for subtitle positioning and PLEASE make splash load files directly from folders in playlist. I have all my episodes in separate folders and it's really annoying not to be able to load a folder in the playlist. With free players you can do that. And please fix the code parser for <i></i>, <color></color> etc. It's a shame not to have italics or color on subtitles from various movies. This should have been the first things to add. I'm starting to regret buying splash, considering that motion2 still stutters. And add an option for subtitle background, because some movies come with burned-in subtitles and they are annoying.

Re: Splash PRO 1.3.0 & 1.3.1

Fri Nov 05, 2010 7:01 pm

Splash PRO 1.3.1 is available at: http://mirillis.com/en/products/splashpro.html
What's new in Splash PRO 1.3.1?

IMPORTANT: Playlist changes may result in "broken links" to files that contain special language characters. This files need to be added to a playlist again. We are sorry for this inconvienience.

* Resume playback feature added for files on playlists (with last audio and subtitle track)
* Playlist improvements (multilanguage support, loading/storing performance improvement)
* HD audio bitstreaming in MKV improvements
* Improved seeking performance on netbooks with Broadcom Crystal HD
* 3:2 Pulldown detection improved
* 7.1 Audio output improved
* Audio track change in pasue mode fixed
* Improved deinterlacing enabling/disabling (on ATI and Intel GPUs)
* New translations: Arabic, Armenian, Lithuanian, Romanian
* GUI improvements

At the moment the resume function works only for files that are stored on playlist.
Audio and internal subtitle track is remembered and movie is stored with last played audio track and subtitles track.
Resume function does not work automatically yet, use resume button on playlist to resume selected file.

Splash PRO 1.3.2 is available, including a hotfix for multilanguage playlist support!
http://mirillis.com/en/products/splashpro.html

This version fixes a Splash PRO 1.3.1 problem with opening playlists including files
that contain special language characters.

Hi everybody. I am still using trial version but I am planning to buy PRO soon. I like Splash resume with this additional button on playlist. I can decide wether I want resume or not and can resume playback even when I started it from begining! This is cool but i think some people do not use playlists and will need auto resume anyway :)

Keep up the good work. Excellent player.

Till 1.3.1 I have a strange problem with the audio: it seems like a normalize effect. Sometimes the volume is lowered/incresed but no reason. I checked my Xonar control panel, this feature is off now. Any opinion?

Instead of releasing versions like there is no tomorrow, I think you'd better try to add the most simplest features, like subtitle positioning, loading folders in the playlist, accepting codes ( <i></i>, <color></color> etc ) and fix Motion2 + Picture2 stuttering. I, as of today, will uninstall splash and give my license for free to whoever friend of mine will want it. I revert to MPC-HC, a free player that has everything. The response for these features ( asked by clients from day one ) is that they will be available.
