i really don't see a reason to pay 20.00 for this and here is why

haalispliter + ffdshow FREE

support vob sub from MKV , splash pro don't support
support DTS-MA from MKV, splash pro don't support
support PGS sub from MKV, splash pro don't support
support chapter from MKV, splash pro don't support

so i really don't see what splash pro can offer me for 20.00 when i can get more for free, and is no about the money i just don't see the point of paying for a incomplete play back software, the only thing good is the gui witch i love it

JUST MY 2 CENTS

Subtitle positioning would have been a feature if the player actually REMEMBERED that position. If I want to watch 3-4 episodes from a tv-show I have to reposition the subtitle every time.

Disable Motion2. Capture frame is not available with M2 enabled.

Please make this thing into a setting, not just a shortcut. Also, you did a great job with improving playback for most of the video files.

EmZvr, EvertonMonkey, abejan: Please try the latest 1.3.3 version. Open Playack Options panel and make sure all Basic Video Controls are set to 0. Please confirm if it works on your PCs.
Working perfectly now. Sorry for the late reply.

Ghost:
Splash pro is my favorite player but please add this options: (past it to developers).
1) add an option to automatically load srt file that in the same directory as the movie file when playing the movie.
2) add an option to associate file types from splash pro gui settings.
3) add the option to change subtitle size by numbers (I hate this pre-defined sizes/color).
4) add a subtitle smoothing option.
