Opening a DVD

Hi,
First let me just say, Splash Pro is by far the best video player i have come across, its a fantastic piece of software, so thanks for all the hard work you guys put into this. Only trouble is, i'm having difficulty opening up a DVD. When i right click and go to Open [F:/], nothing happens. And i havent worked out another way to open up a DVD in Splash Pro. Any help would be great, thank you.

Splash Pro was not designed to play DVDs, but you can drag the VOB files from your DVD to Splash Pro. Only problem is you can't navigate through the movie using DVD menus. Mirillis has an upcoming product designed specifically for DVD (I don't know if they have a release date).

Thanks for clarifying that. Anyone with any news on a release date? Seems a shame for such a great product to not be DVD compatible.

Hi, we do not know the realse date for DVD support yet.
It is planned for future Splash versions and we still consider the way for releasing this, it can be released as a Splash DVD version or as a plugin for PRO in example.
