I absolutely *WILL NOT* purchase it until it is supported.

Splash PRO has always deemed itself as "the Ultimate HD Player" and "Designed and optimized for HD!", and yet
it won't play a standard HD audio format. In my opinion, this is completely unacceptable!

It doesn't
you obviously don't have any lossless equipment

I understand. I don't have any lossless equipment. Have you analysed the spectrals? Or the input on your lossless receiver reports a lower frequency? I believe very few have certified DTS-MA receivers or notice the diference. But yes, a true HD player should output all possible codecs up to 192KHz.

receiver report plain dts, not dts hd, and hd audio led is off, so splash output only the core dts inside the dts hd:ma stream,
the same file with totalmedia theatre output dts hd:ma and hd audio led is on
in 2010 any mid-low level avr receiver is capable to decode dts-ma

Any solution yet?
I think that for a HD player HD audio is a obligatory feature. I watch almost only MKV vith DTS-HD TrueHD and for now I'm forced to use MPCHC + ffdshow... : (

Just did some fast check. All tested with latest drivers installed.

Splash PRO 1.4.0 - DTS-MA bitstream does not work.
Splash PRO 1.5.0 DTS-MA bitstream works on intel core-i5 and HD5xxx.
