Hi again,

Will you have any kind of library feature in Splash BD? If not it is a serious suggestion from me. An easy way to browse through your BD movies located on the harddrive. Not much fancyer then showing a thumbnail of the cover and perhaps the most basic info about the movie. Just a nice way to select wich movie to watch. Like any standard music playing software.

We are not plannig to support custom external decoders for MPEG-2, H.264 and VC-1.
We care about decoding performance, audio/video quality and we put great effort in audio/video decoders development and optimization. We will keep improving our decoders. By using our proprietary decoders we can provide the best performance (i.e. fast video playback startup) and proprietary advanced features like Motion2 and many more in the future.

I'd also like to see HD-DVD support.

Using ffdshow with our proprietary codecs is not included in our plans.
We are planning to add some filters to Splash, what filters are you interested in?

HD-DVD probably will not be available in first versions of Splash BD. It is not included in our plans.
