Just popped in to report that after installing the decoder the thumbnails work, MPC HC can play the video, but not the audio (5.1), I also wasn't able to load the .fic files in StaxRip (perhaps that is not the decoders problem) - still, appreciate the effort, keep it coming! ^^

Action! 1.5 FIC:
Don't know how to embed youtube video on this forum :\

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YoUpiEIV_Jc

The recordings are made with multi-channel disabled.
As you can see, WMP was unable to open the gameplay file but was able to play the desktop recording.
WLMM was able to import the fic files but there was no audio (+tested with multi-channel turned on).
Adobe Premiere CS6 was unable to to anything.

Please update to the latest Action 1.5.0 version and check if problems with audio are solved.

Thank you very much for detailed report and the video showing all problems.

We are still working to solve problems with WLMM (no audio), Premiere and few other appliactions.
Our next step is to introduce avi format as this should solve all problems with software comapitibility.

About problem with game recordings playback in WMP:
- Have you experienced this problem with beta version of FIC decoder?
- Do you have problem with old recordings only? I mean if you make brand new recording does it reproduce the problem or works fine?
- Can you please check if playback works fine with other players than WMP?

Yes, don't know why I forgot to mention it.

These recordings were made with v1.5 (in video), the problem also exists with older recordings.

Other players are able to play it without any problems.
The problem only exists when trying to play the recorded gameplay with 32bit version of WMP. 64bit WMP works fine.

Did that, and now there is sound, too. MPC-HC plays the files flawlessly. Also, StaxRip was able to load up the .FIC files, so now I can encode it with any setting I would like :) The only remaining problem is extracting the audio track from the .fic file, but that won't be a problem for too long (hopefully) as you have said you are working on implementing recording into .avi

Thanks for your great work!

Hello,
I have Action! 1.6.1. I recorded a 37 minutes of video in 4 part. (pauses)
I tried to edit it in PowerDirector 10.0 and its showed this:
An error eccurred while opening this media file in the media library. It may be because the file is broken, an unsupported format, protected video content, or for another reason. Try contacting your video provider for a different video format.

I'm installed this Decoder, and it's isn't working too.
What would I do?
