Action! Codecs

Sun Jul 15, 2012 12:47 am

Hi again.
So, i have a problem with 1.6.0 abble to record to .avi.
I record my desktop or any game and the .avi file is created but i can't reproduce it with any software... the only way i can reproduce the .avi file is whit the Action! Software.

With Bs player Only reproduce the Audio.
With Camtasia Studio 7 tells me "No codec availble to render this file"
With VLC Player
With windows Media Player only repoduce Audio.
With Movie Maker can't open the.avi.

It seems that i'm the only with this problem since nobody report the same problem in the forum :S

I'm starting to think that is a Codec problem or something like that...
I've only instaled the Normal instalation of "K-litle Codec"
This is my pc:

So please anyone have an idea what is my problem?
I realy realy realy wants to use this program
Thanks

VLC will not use our codecs.

BSplayer and Camtasia should work fine.
Please see private message I sent you and we will proceed with problem investigation.

I've got the same problem. The Videos are just Pitch black and only the Audio is played.
I tried to play the videos in Adobe After Effects CS6, Adobe Premiere Pro CS6, Windows Media Player, VLC and Microsoft Zune. None of them were able to show me the Video... (Of course I could convert them in Action, but thats what we were trying to avoid here isn't it ;) )

Ghost just help me to Solve my problem (i don't know if is the same problem that u have)

The only thing that i have to do is Go to Action! instalation Folder and Open ficvdec_x64.reg or ficvdec_x86.reg depending of your version =) And now im abble to reproduce Audio and video in the softwares.
