It doesn't. There's no such function in Action! that could lock the in-game framerate.

Its show the recording frame rate not the actual game frame rate, its a bit confusing, and misleading...

hello my native language is not English sorry if I make a mistake

I love action but in this latest version I have a very rare mistake

when I start the program remains frozen, I can change the configuration options or write or do anything, I do not see the version of the program

entoces try to close it by force alt - control - delete

and in the process list and kill Action_x86 Action_x32

until there is no process of Action

I open entoces action and it works! loads and closes properly and I can use it without bug

but on every reboot and do the process of killing

It works, but if Fraps is launched at the same time, there's some randomness that make the game to crash, or not load the FXAA/SMAA mod, or load the mod but after Action!, and then the FXAA/SMAA effect is not captured in videos.
But without Fraps, it's loaded in the right order and the FXAA/SMAA effect is visible in captured videos.

I can confirm it, thanks :)

When will the overlay show the actual fps during recording, not the preset recording frame rate (30,60,25,)giving the illusion of locking the frame rate during recording ,and the recording time?

Some weeks ago i postet a problem, but it is not fixed until now. I´ve sent it to the support, too.

Action! does not work with games using a d3d9.dll. This file is sometimes a graphic-tweak or an overlay. I have problems with games from simbin, battlefield3 and world of tanks.

Regards
Steffen

Graphics mod issues such as FXAA Injector has been fixed and we received feedback that it's working.

Can you add a small but very helpfull option:

On the recorded videos that we can play inside action it would be nice to have an option to rename the files :D i use madvr to render on my player and if i play the .avi file i can't see the video and i need to switch to the directshow render to see which video file is or open action and check the filename too. Renaming the files will make this process of identify the files a lot easier.

Thanks for reading and keep the great job with action!

You can change the name by clicking once on the file name in Action! browser. Here's a screenshot: http://i47.tinypic.com/2e1rmmt.png
