Hi, I have an Nvidia Quadro FX550, which I know is not on the list of supported cards, but does have PureVideo. Is there any possibility of supporting this? As it stands, the hardware acceleration box is greyed out.
Thanks,
Brian Williams

Please try to update to latest 196.21.arturius wrote:Version 195.62 (the newest) is currently in use. I also tried a few earlier versions of drivers without success.
Hi, your graphics card does not support full hardware acceleration for H.264/AVC video decoding and Hardware Acceleration option in Splash settings is not available. You can check if your graphics card supports partial H.264/AVC video decoding. Partial H.264 acceleration is not available in Splash Lite, but will be added soon in Splash PRO.phuongpham wrote:Hi
I have a poor graphic card. ATI X1200.
I've tried different codec/video player etc. But when I play 1080p/i files the pc a strucceling to play.
I would give Splash a try. But the same results with Splash. The CPU almost running 100% when i play 1080 movies.
720 files works fine.
I have the latest driver 9.12
The Hardware acceleration also is grayed out for me
Which version of the 8800GTS have you? Because the first Generation doesn't support h264 decoding.fudun wrote:I have a Nvidia 8800 gts and the latest drivers installed, running windows 7 x64.
This is true. This 8800 cards should however support partial H.264video decoding acceleration, it should be available soon in Splash PRO.maxpower85 wrote:Which version of the 8800GTS have you? if you have the G80 (320/640 Mb) version like me, you will not able to use this option.. that's a sad reality!
