How about support formats FLV, WMV & 3GP?

P.S. Are you ready to compete with FREEWARE & GREAT media players such as Media Player Classic - Home Cinema, VLC media player, The KMPlayer, SMPlayer etc.?

P.S.S. And how about a portable version of your player?

Hi Silent Rain,

We are planning to add support for WMV soon, also portable version of Splash Lite is planned.
We keep improving our products and new features will be added gradually.

As we are focusing on high quality HD videos we do not plan to support FLV and 3GP in next Splash releases.
This will be added in the future.

One of the criteria of a good media player - his omnivorous ;)

P.S. So, how about Media Player Classic - Home Cinema, VLC media player, The KMPlayer, SMPlayer etc. :?: :!:

Hi,

I would also like to ask if portable versions of PRO and especially HD-Cam are expected?

I dont care about low quality formats but WMV would be nice :)
Would like to see more high quality features like motion2 etc. than support for low qual formats

I watch only HD and for me the only competition for Splash Lite could be MPC-HC at the moment. But it needs still a lot of work, not stable for AVCHD, takes more CPU than Splash and DXVA works much worse, especially on my laptop with Intel 4500. VLC for HD is poor, particularly for AVCHD, and no DXVA support. KMPlayer no DXVA support, unstable and probably illegal

It is not our target to compete with freeware/open source media players.

Splash PRO, HD-Cam, TV and other versions are also planned to be available as portable.
Soon we will publish more information.

I agree, I need a player that is dedicated to HD content, for all other formats, including DVD, I can still use VLC...
WMV-support is very much needed though.....

keep up the good work

VLC is grate but still has a long way to go

Also, Splash Pro/Lite is the only video app I know of that doesn't silently drop frames to maintain AV sync. I've only exprenced such quality motion with ReClock.

PS: I have yet to try a long segment, I'll let you guys know it is plays out
