Hi !
First things first:
AWESOME codecs\player all-in-one efficiency !
Respect...
Two things are currently hindering me from using splash full time (HD movies only, usually 720p):
1. The Ability to boost the audio.
Since I play the movies on a laptop with the not-so-great built-in speakers, this is a real necessity (unless I use headphones, which is not always an option).
There are 3rd party products (like dfx) for WMP & WinAmp.
Since splash uses built in codecs ONLY, I see no option to load any filter\other 3rd party software to do this.
In MPC this feature is built in (see attachment *** attachment removed by admin***).
And yes, the speaker setting in windows (and splash) is maxed out...
2. Programmable keyboard shortcuts.
It would be nice if one would have the ability to see all of the available keyboard shortcuts (for play, pause, small\medium\large skip back\forward etc) from WITHIN the application (and not only in the "getting started" pdf...) and be able to set the desired key sequence for them, like in MPC (see attachment).
A question:
Is the current version of spalsh able to use the built-in gpu in the new intel arrandale cpu's (core i3/i5) for accelerated decoding of h264 movies, like it does for nvidia gpu's (via CUDA) or ati gpu's ?
