Video sync with audio

when I use the video (with audio) in my video editor (Serif MoviePlus 6) parts of the video are, at the most, 2 or 3 seconds out of sync with the audio. I don't know if this is to do with the Editor or Action! If you have any suggestions or ideas of why this is happening please tell me. Thanks!
